  1. You guys really like Wheel of Time huh. That's cool with me.
  2. Mine is but that might be the crack rocks I sprinkle in like the berries in Captain Crunch.
  3. Bro that's what I'm saying. I have a hard enough time dealing with my own children. Following someone else's would give me chest pains.
  4. I agree with that. I don't know if an 18 year old planning out his next 4-5 years is going to feel the same way.
  5. I said to myself: You can do it. You can follow recruiting this year. It's not that stressful. Rodney Groce: Nah. With the coaching carousel spinning as fast as it does, I can't say I blame anyone who follows their heart, even if it's 3 weeks after committing.
  6. I'm just here trying to figure out how to get some of these moist cornbeads inside me.
  7. Knapp, is a deep dive a fancy way of saying 'reporters have 30 days to look into the past and see if we made a mistake?'
  8. Wherever he winds up, he's going to have a spot on the All-Name team.
  9. I love that Sports Nightly on 1400am wasted no time whatsoever in making this story about them. We should have known this whole time because Mo didn't give interviews hehehheheheh. I am so over media inserting themselves into everything. Come the f#&% on my dudes. Half the fan base is like "lEsS tAlK mOrE pLaY." With that being said, I hope this is one less distraction in the locker room and Mo finds a way to return the faith Frost showed in him. I have my doubts.
  10. [X] Excessive ellipsis [X] Random capitalization [X] Exclamation marks we don't need This dude is fully the first half of the Oklahoma fight song.
  11. Bo was so mean and be treated the media so mean :(((. Think of the Dirk Shatlames and hire Mike Riley.
  12. So I won’t laugh and point out that “fan abuse” is the snowflakiest thing I’ve ever heard because that will get my post deleted. I will instead offer that maybe we should create a safe space where our fans can be shielded from the slightest bit of criticism from former players and other fans. I wonder what we could call it.
  13. In other news, former Husker says gas used to be 1.20 a gallon. More at eight.
  14. Dub, with all due respect we *do* honor our military. A lot. I just don't see the need for it to seep into more areas, such as college football games. 1) If it's DoD funded, I don't like it either. 2) If it's not, as with anything in life, if it's not speaking to you then maybe it wasn't meant *for* you. It might be meant for the gold star family sitting in the stands. As I said, because you find the spartan culture off-putting, do not lose sight of the fact that we are, and have been at war for 15 years. Anyway, props for having some backbone in this discussion.
  15. Do people not know we are still at war or what? Does the reminder of this offend you?
  16. I'm just going to rephrase this "guys why do we honor our all volunteer military when we are and have been At war for 15 years?! ?? I don't get it????"
  17. We still have men and women fighting in Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Nigeria and Libya, so I guess the OP must have asked the question out of an enviable sense of ignorance. Hey bud, maybe we should bring back compulsory military service so you can get it.
  18. +1 I also had to read it a few times to be sure. The ballot was basically - the death penalty was abolished - do you want to keep the ban or not. Unless I'm mistaken. It didn't seem to be worded in a very accessible way. The way you were even asking, it sounded like you voted to reinstate the death penalty by accident. EDIT: Feel free to correct me if that isn't right.
  19. If you voted no you voted to keep the death penalty. A vote yes was a vote for the repeal of the death penalty.
