  1. In a 4 year span Saban has signed basically an entire class more of football players than NU. Tell me he's doing it the right was. Bull sh#t.

      Maybe not. But these kids know the rules to keep their scholly when they sign up. If they don't want to earn their pay (scholly) then they get cut (fired). Works the same way in a job. Its more fair than the boyscouts would have you believe. It is the way the game is going and if we want to be competitve then we better keep up, like it or not.

      HuskerB. I say this with animosity. It just just an argument on my part. "Cutting the dead weight" is just a chicken sh#t way of doing things. Who's responsible for the young man getting offered the scholarship and being convinced to come to campus in the first place? The coaches. Then, the the player "doesnt work out", the coaches get off by cutting his scholly and kickin him to the curb and why? Becuase he could run as fast as they thought. This is one issue that...

      He is probably doing it legit, but there is a difference between an SEC program and Nebraska, as someone probably posted already in this long comment list. SEC=1 year scholly, Nebraska= 4 years automatically. We don't cut because someone doesn't live to their expectancy. SEC needs to care about the kids more than football.
