He was in Bo's doghouse pretty much from the get go. I was dumbfounded when Bo announced he was our/his DC.

McKewon just stating what everyone already knows. Riley just needs to win games. Nothing will come close to Pelini from a fan/media/pr standpoint so the rest of that sort of thing will take care of itself now that he's gone.

I'm kind of done wasting my thoughts on this dude. He's gone. We know what he was like. I just wonder how does this tape play out if you're the parent who's son is now being recruited by Pelini and his staff at YSU? Do you say anything to your son in terms of maybe suggesting that he think extra hard about potentially having this man be your coach for the next 4 years given his public track record? I know I don't feel our kids deserved what they got in Pelini as far as someone who was supposed to be their leader and proof of his setting bad examples and just generally being an idiot is definitely out there with this tape sadly being just another one.

I definitely wanted Frost over Mike Riley. He's been around nothing but successful programs his entire career and even though he is running offense now at Oregon he played defense in the NFL so he has experience and knowledge on that side of the ball also. I like that. I'm just shocked that this man wasn't even at least contacted about the position.

The transcript has been made public and of course they've heard it. There was nothing wrong with what they said and that's going to be the end of it. They read a transcript and that's exactly what they state. This whole thing is ridiculous and the sad thing is it does actually seem as there is some incompetency at the top. Again I never thought I would see this kind of drama here. Enough of the soap opera.

So the university has released a statement without any sort of tape being made public. I feel like I am watching two 12 year olds fight on the internet. I never thought I would see this kind of lame drama at Nebraska. Seriously. This is almost a joke anymore.

The only problem with your statement is that Bo duped the entire fan base after we hired him because what seemed like 'fire' in his belly at the beginning turned out to be nothing more than a large child playing with matches in the end.

And to think this was the guy who was the coach of the Cornhuskers and for 7 years. Our kids deserved a lot better. Nice parting message to send to your team Pelini. To blame others for your failures and to lash out at others whenever you feel like it. I haven't been huge on the Mike Riley hire but at least Nebraska sent this a$$ hole packing.
