My Arkansas State Red Wolves just took down the Husker bowling team.

How ya gonna lose to a dadgummed glorified WAC team in the stinkin' playoffs man, c'mon.

Anyone know where i can go someplace to start creating t shirts.

The return to Standard Time should be on November 1, the day after Halloween. That way everyone gets an extra hour of sleep after the long night of trick-or-treating.
-
You know what grinds my gears?
Our "standard time" lasts shorter than our daylight savings time.
Shouldn't the longer period of time be called the "standard time" and any change from the norm should be called something else?
I'm all for doing away with changing times altogether. Pick one time and stick with it.
I'll get off my soap box now.

Woo pig sooie or whatever. Beyond Meat suspended their COO for biting a man's nose in a parking garage near Razorback Stadium

Good God I picked a time to get sober. At least I got four months today, only bright spot of my day

This may be a record for most visitors after a loss.

Does NU win today with AM?

So I never knew Johnny Stanton ended up as an NFL fullback, and scores a TD this year. What a strange world.

If Frost losses against NW does he get fired after the game?

Heavy is the head of a Minnesota Vikings/Nebraska Cornhusker fan.

Got my JJ shot today at Millard North. Took all of 3 minutes and then you get sent to sit for 15 minutes, which, I did not. So far, so good (So what, who can name the band?)

I got my 2nd dose of Pfizer 10 days ago. 1st dose was just a sore arm and more fatigued for about 2 nights starting around 7 pm in the evening. I wasn't as fatigued after my 2nd dose, but I was achier for about 24 hours. I slept it off and woke up the next day feeling great.
I never had any fever, nausea, chills, headache, etc. It all went well.

Figures. 2 to 3 weeks from being able to get the vaccine and catch the 'rona. Luckily I don't think it's going to be very bad at all.....unless it gets worse than the last couple days.

ESPN making fun of Nebraska wanting to play football. No matter what happens it was the right thing to do for sure. We will see what these coaches and players are made of in these next few weeks.

Such a wonderful feeling when you start a dead sprint and your hamstring goes... Pop!
The best part is it doesn't even hurt, you just instantly know it's wrong.

Fact is athletes would be MUCH MUCH safer playing their sports and being monitored regularly. If you are gonna get myocarditis or DCM from covid i would much rather have them in sports and being monitored for it regularly than out and about doing what college kids do without close monitoring. Hate to say it, but chances are more kids are going to die this way whether from covid or other things b/c of lack of structure.
-
You have a point. If the P5 conferences put these kids into their respective campus bubble and tested, retested, isolated, and played against teams that have done the same protocols, then a season may have been plausible.
However, that's not the case. We have our current situation. People not taking this pandemic seriously and people thinking this whole thing isn't as serious as it is. So, here we are. Nobody is happy and a lot of people only have the person in the mirror to blame for this.
I really do agree with your point that a lot of kids in D1 sports, especially football and basketball, are better off in a structured system with rigorous testing. However, those systems have not been put into place in any athletic program. They've had months to prepare. It sucks.

Seeing speculation that the only Fall college sport will be Football, and it's a revenue issue. Apparently lots of programs operate in the red, and if football doesn't make money, they won't be able to field teams in other sports.

All this Ameer chatter about "what ifs/if" he played for TO made me wonder if TO had still been coaching would TO have offered Danny Woodhead a schollie and if so, how he'd now be perceived in husker lore.

Danny would have been great at Nebraska. Over 20 NFL scouts at the pro day for him clocked him between 4.33 and I think 4.38 in the 40 while Ameer ran 4.6 in the NFL combine. There may be a case between electronic vs handheld timing, but Danny was a generational talent from western Nebraska and it's a damn shame he wasn't given a chance at UNL.

Rewatching the 2014 miami game with my girlfriend as part of her introduction to Nebraska football (she's from Alabama).
She's so into it and intimidated by the crowd and I'm almost crying thinking of how much I miss football, miss big primetime moments and love this program.

Would you rather be stuck on the Coronavirus cruise ship or be an Iowa fan for a day?
