i'd like to say he's coming, but it gotta feeling his bound for college station. it's his dream school and it's where he always imagined playing.

This is showing that these coaches are doing a great job though because he is having such a hard time with this decision. Eddie we wanted you more that aTm did and that's why we offered you before they did. Don't go somewhere that you were a 2nd choice! Come to NU where you were our first choice.

People need to understand a few things here. We are talking about 18 year old kids. Who really knew what they wanted at 18? Most of us were thinking do I go to college or take the job down the street. These kids are deciding on a possible million dollar career. Much more difficult I would say.

 

For those ranting on A&M offering him a scholarship only after NU did, think it through. If you are A&M and there is a recruit who has said his life dream is to play for you and no one else has offered, why not take the chance and see if he goes unnoticed and decides to walk on. This way you save a scholarship and still get the player. If someone else recruits him, you throw down a quick offer and see if he truly wants to play for you. I would hope NU has the where-with-all to do the same if given the chance!

Update: The word was just announced that he has just De-committed and is planning on making it official to A&M today or tomorrow. O-well....good luck in the future!

Yep. One thing he who shall not be mentioned left us with was a lot of young, talented O-lineman. Baker's got a great first step and is very quick off the snap. Could be a great DT for us.

That sucks big time. I think he was one of the most impressive recruits in this class. I can understand why he is deciding to go to A&M.
