SwiftFan87
Wow!!!!! That sucks for him. Good for Bo though! Why would that be good for BO?? we are hurting in that area. Because he's not afraid to suspend a player who has been one of the key performers for us this year. Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
UGH It had to be something really bad because Teafatiller didn't get the indefinite added to his suspension after his 3rd arrest however Christenson did though. It must not be as bad as whatever Dixon did either because that dude got the boot. Or Austin Stafford. Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
Here is the link that I read a few minutes ago. It doesn't say much but apparently Pelini has suspended him. http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_page=3918...;u_sid=10396039 Quote Link to comment
holvy83
sucks for Glenn, but maybe he shouldn't have broken the rules. Team rules are exactly what they are, for the whole team! if you can't follow them then pack your bags. it really is too bad though... Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
Thanks to whichever mod moved this, didn't see it prior. Sorry about that guys. Still WTF did he do? Quote Link to comment
Axl_sued_me
Steroids.....Anytime i hear someone getting a heavy handed suspension that stems from a violation of team rules that is what i think. There really isnt much else that could warrant that kind of punishment. Wow, f3$k me!!! I think that if it was steroids related, you would hear, "Cody Glenn kick off the team" rather than suspended. That would be my guess. Quote Link to comment
billdozer15
This is really not good, we were a skeleton crew at LB as it was. Hopefully Dillard can go on Saturday. Quote Link to comment
jh_husker
I think we will be fine without him. He hasnt done much the past couple games with injuries and all. Sucks that we are short in that area but we will be fine. I just really liked seeing Cody on that side of the ball. we will probably just [play more DIME package this weekend, Quote Link to comment

It would have to be something awfully severe to indefinately suspend a senior with 3 games to go and one who has given as much as Cody has. Cody has never been in trouble with the law. Nor suspended at any other time. Quote Link to comment

admo
Without knowing or understanding all that was involved, just disappointed to hear this kind of news. Tough thing to happen to Cody, and a tough thing to happen for his teammates. We'll eventually know when the dust settles. Everything else is just speculation & a guess. Quote Link to comment

He was essentially a spy on Sharp for most of the KU game and pretty much shut him down for most of the game. I think we'll use more Dime in general since KSU likes to spread the field and throw the ball. Hopefully Dillard can go on Saturday cause the speed is nice to have at LB. Quote Link to comment

I've really thought the entire year that Asante should be a LB. I'm not saying move him up this late in the year, but I think next year. But, maybe he's taken some reps at LB during the year. I think Safety is too much to handle for him, too many reads. At LB he he has easier reads and coverage isn't as important(mostly just take a drop). Anyways, JMO, and I think we have some young guys that can step in and do a satisfactory job for KSucks and CUn*. Quote Link to comment
huskerstag
That's too bad. He was one of my favorite players. I want to feel sorry for him, but I doubt he was suspended without cause. My respect for Pelini just went up a notch. Quote Link to comment
huskersok
Hopefully, he did not do something that will haunt him after football. There are so many things that could get him off the team, but with the "indefinitely" tacked on, maybe Bo is waiting to hear more of the facts before he takes any further action.
