Huskerballz
Seriously, I'm talking about the life is over, crash my car, burn down my house, kill puppies and punt kitties type of meltdown. I personally think it could be fun. What do all you haters out there have stored up in your "my life sucks because nebraska lost a football game" arsenal if for some reason Nebraska doesn't win this game? Can't wait to find out. JTrain
I don't know that meltdown is the right word, but I would definitely lose most of my remaining faith in Bo and Watson. Quote Link to comment
junior4949
I'm guessing if you want to find the answer to that go back to the 2007 season when we got obliterated by Okie State on Homecoming. We'll have that kind of meltdown I'm guessing. For me, I'll probably just go take out my aggressions on some unsuspecting dead trees with my chainsaw. Quote Link to comment

Pretty much what JTrain said. Unless it's a wild series of events like Lee starts and throws 7 pick sixes in the first three quarters, green comes in and leads a frantic rally in the 4th but all of the field officials sneeze simultaneously as Cody stretches the ball across the goal line for the game tying score as the clock runs out. The play is ruled down at the one and the replay official blows the call. Then I would still be uspet and aggitated with the staff but the future would look bright. Quote Link to comment
hskrpwr13
Can we actually mealt down any farther? I would think losing at hom to ISU without there 2 best players is as bad as it gets. I believe Baylor wouldv'e beaten ISU last week. Quote Link to comment
gthogan
I think we should beat the rush and start melting down right now. Tomorrow night is Halloween and I'd like to have my melting down out of the way before I take my kid out to get some candy. Quote Link to comment

Could be. I think we could all get together and petition Nebraska to drop football and then for Creighton to start a Division 1 Football program!!! Quote Link to comment

Did you follow the forum this past week? "Meltdown" is exactly what happened on this board this past week. Quote Link to comment

Still lost by 14 points to ISU. Quote Link to comment

I saw a lot of open discussion about what went wrong and intelligent/logical thoughts on how to fix it. Guess that's "melting down" in koolaid land. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I don't think you'll have to worry about a meltdown, there is no doubt in my mind this board will be ridiculous if we lose. Quote Link to comment

If you call the urinary olympics that persisted following the loss, then I guess that's "open discussion" in your mind. But when people claim coaches should be fired, players benched, complaining about fans, and blah blah blah, it's a meltdown. Quote Link to comment

This from the guy who has a quote ranting about how ridiculous the rules of rock paper scissors is... Quote Link to comment
