MNBIGRED
Our opinion on NU possibly retiring Suh's number, do you think it will happen? I hope they do, but I doubt they do the permanent retired number one though. Quote Link to comment

HANC
His number will probably not be permantly retired, based on the #15 comparison, but you can bet that his name will be added to the ring of hall of famers at the north end of the stadium. He is about to bring home more hardware than some of those guys combined. That is an awesome list of names and his will be there SUUUUUUUUHn. Quote Link to comment
JTrain
They will retire his jersey, not his number. Retiring the jersey is just to show how great of a player he was. Retiring a number actually means no one can wear the number again. #60 (Tom Novak) and #64 (Bob Brown) are the only retired numbers. Sixteen jerseys have been retired. Quote Link to comment

They're going to have to wait a month or two to do that. It's going to be smoking hot for a while after the game. Quote Link to comment

In the Deed the Glory
Only if he is an NFL Hall of Famer someday do they retire the number, IMO. Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
They won't retire the number...may frame the jersey and hang it somewhere kind of "semi-retiring" his jersey, but if they haven't retired #15, they better not retire #93. There has been other greats that didn't have their number retired either. Quote Link to comment
Alex 4.0
If they frame the jersey, I hope they use one he has been wearing in the game... so people can see how tore up it is from all the blatant holds. Suh wouldn't ever want us to retire his number. He is too unselfish Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I hope we keep the number. Stick it on a DL starter next year and watch QBs fall down pre-emptively ten yards behind the line of scrimmage before remembering that Suh graduated Quote Link to comment

skersfan
I think 20 was, but brought back for his son, which did nothing to earn it. I would imagine it is no longer retired. Quote Link to comment

JTrain
Along the line of zoogies' thought: We should reserve #93 for our best defensive lineman. Make it a tradition. Quote Link to comment
Twodocs
I he takes down all the trophies he is up for yes retire the number and if he wins the Heisman we should also rename the state Ndamukong or House of Football Spears Quote Link to comment
