huskernumerouno
I was unable to watch or listen to the game. What was the Taunting flag against TM for and why would we be taunting SDSU ever let alone in a tight game. Quote Link to comment
308_Husker
I'd like to know this as well. I didn't have the best seat in the east student section tonight as I was stuck behind a dang pillar and nobody around me was really watching at that point I saw Martinez toss the ball towards somebody, not sure if that had to do with anything, or not. BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Yes they called the taunting for tossing the ball to the SDSU player. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
HE WAS TOSSING THE BALL TO AN OFFICIAL, an sdsu player happened to step in the path of the ball. I had a teammate get called for this in a high school game a few years back after scoring a touchdown. It's bs, but that's how officials are anymore, i swear they pick a play just to call something and theyre gonna find anything they can when they feel like it. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
I couldn't believe they called that and let all the chippiness and dirty play after the whistles (on both teams) the rest of the night go. Ben Cotton deserved at least two personal foul calls, and so did Pierre Allen. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt316
Martinez was walking back to the huddle and tossed the ball over his shoulder to the official and it accidentally hit a SDSU player who walked between Martinez and the Official... It was nothing but a garbage penalty. That said, Taylor needs to make sure he's looking where he's tossing the ball (and not just to the officials) Quote Link to comment
bbeerma2
It's the rules, unfortunately Quote Link to comment
huskernumerouno
Glad to hear it was not an intential circumstance. Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
Talking about cheap plays, i overheard a player saying he took a foot in the stomach from an SDSU player..... overheard this at dinner after the game.. too bad to hear that.. Quote Link to comment

Husker_x
The shot wasn't very good for Taylor's penalty, but whatever happened, he wasn't even looking at the guy the ball hit. He just sort of tossed it over his shoulder. SDSU earned the right to be chippy. They made a mockery out of our offense and outplayed us all night. Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
He didn't throw it over his shoulder, he turned around and toss the football. It happened to hit the SDST player in the facemask, whether or not there was an official there, i couldn't tell. After he tossed it, he did have a smile on his face, which to me looked a bit smuggish, but that is probably me assuming too much. Speaking of this, does anyone have that shot of Bo right after that, where he fingers Taylor to come over and talk to him. It seriously looked like a death look from Bo. Quote Link to comment

That is the look you dont wanna see from Bo. That look could make a grown man cry. the penalty was a BS call, but who knows maybe Taylor was running his mouth after the play too, i guess we'll never know. Quote Link to comment
I am I
i think his smuggish looking smile was because he just broke off a long run after kind of being bottled up, so he was like, "okay, get ready for more of that" too bad it never really happened after that. i think it was pretty incidental from replays on tv Quote Link to comment
TMagic
I was furious at the call when I watched it on tv. When I came home and saw "highlights" they showed it again. Taylor runs in front of the player who is walking, turns over his shoulder and flips the ball right in the dudes face. This was definitely a penalty IMO. Quote Link to comment
