Ohio State game at night?

Recommended Posts

There has been some internet chatter at a couple of Buckeye boards that the Ohio State game will be at night as well. Waiting on some official confirmation from either OSU or Nebraska.

Yes, I believe nexus posted a link in his status. But it is "premium content" so he actually cant start a thread about it. I would think within a week, we will hear it "offically" announced.

The tOSU game will be the biggest thing to hit Lincoln in since ND came to town, bigger than Texas, bigger than USC. Its gonna be epic..... Im sure its on College Gamedays ready list. Think of the storylines, first game back for tressel and his business majors, first B1G conference home game for Nebraska, a top 10 matchup maybe a top 5.

If its not a night game I will be completely shocked.

This game could be one of the most anticipated games for the entire college football season next year. tOSU should not lose more than 1, if any, games before their matchup with Nebraska. Nebraska should not lose more than 1, if any, games before their matchup with tOSU.

tOSU's schedule up to Nebraska: vs. Akron (W) vs. Toledo (W) @ Miami (W) vs. Colorado (W) vs. Michigan State (W): Should be 5-0. Rank: #3-10

Nebraska's schedule up to Ohio State: vs Chattanooga (W) vs Fresno State (W) vs Washington (W) @ Wyoming (W) @ Wisconsin (W/L): Should be 5-0 or 4-1. Ranked #5-15.

The vest and company will be on their first game back at, of all places Nebraska, who will be playing their first B1G home game.

Other notable games on 10/08: Red River Shootout (Texas vs Oklahoma), Virginia Tech vs. Miami, Auburn @ Arkansas, Florida @ LSU.

You got to be thinking GameDay wants to make a trip back to Lincoln, they've been to all these places before.

HOW MANY MORE DAYS TIL FOOTBALL SEASON STARTS?!?

I dont get the being "enamored" with OH. 2010: loss to Wiskey, beat IA by 3. 2009: loss to Purdue, beat IA by 3 (at home). 2008: loss to State (at home), Texas and beat Wiskey by 3.

It's not like they dominate. As I said before with all the disruption over there, I have a hard time believing they get past those close ones this year, and always have a L or two anyway. So in reality they could drop 4 to 5 games this year.

I could be wrong, but I dont see them as being your toughest game this year.
