New Belgium Abbey is great stuff. Not something you can down a 6-pack of in a night though.

Agreed. It is not a sessionable beer. 1 or 3 will do ya. Another good local brew to try is Coopersmiths Sigma Green Chili beer. It is strange that a beer can havechili flavor, actually kind of spicy, but still be a good beer. I love that stuff, especially in the summer.

Man I wish I could get this in Oklahoma. I love dark beers.

I enjoy drinking a beer or two when watching sports or playing video games. Here's some of my favorites that I haven't seen mentioned:

Weisenstephaner Hefe-Weissbier

Probably my favorite beer.

Seadog "Bluepaw" Blueberry Wheat Ale

A nice lighter wheat ale with a touch of blueberry. Everyone I've had try this loved it.

Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest

A Nice full bodied Marzen. Generally my beer of choice for evenings.

Delirium Tremens

Don't really know how to classify it, other than it's frickin awesome. Just don't drink more than 2...

Where do you find those? Can't say I've heard of any of them but looks like they're worth a try

I'm in Tampa so...... i dunno for you. :confucius

There's a few places around here that has these on tap (Brass Tap and World of Beer). The Weisenstephaner and Hack-Pschorr are both kraut beer imports, and are normally hard to find. I've also been stocking them at home in 6 packs when I find them. Normally, I have to go to place in downtown Tampa called Total Wine (it's like double the size of any liquor store I've ever seen).

See if you can find them locally, and if you can't, let me know, and I'll see If I can send a some your way.

They sell sea dog at hyvee, cant really say it's a beer I would drink more than one of at a time. Too sugary for me.

Yeah, I prefer it on really hot days, because it's lighter. Of course, since it's 90+ degrees 6 months of the year down here, that's quite often! It's a great post lawn mowing beer.
