ScarletAndCream
I work on a construction site in ND, so I never get the opportunity to watch games. Is anyone watching the Michigan/Michigan State game? I'd be interested in any/all feedback about both teams' performance (and how it may relate to us when we play them). Quote Link to comment

BigRedPowerWagon
Robinson went out with an injury in the 4th Quote Link to comment
Badger_HB
Those were some awful jerseys, both sides. Quote Link to comment
husker B-rent
i like our chances to make the title game alot more now. niether team looked great and you can clearly see mich is overrated and to me mich st. has a loss to a much worse team than ours in ND plus they really didnt look all that great either. MrBumstead
MSU's defense was dominant; the best BIG defense this year IMO. They contained Robinson by stacking the box, blitzing, and playing man coverage with their corners. Honestly, DRob looks like he has limitations pretty similar to Taylor; he's just not a great passer. If our corners can play man without safety help, we'll have a good shot to contain the Michigan offense, but I'm not sure they can at this point. Quote Link to comment
iLoveLamp
Those were some awful jerseys, both sides. Â Yep they were Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
First, Mich. St. had great jerseys. As far as the game, MSUs defense looked very solid, but that is partly because MICHs offense is bad. Both offenses are less then average, and Mich. St. is mistake prone. Â Bottom line, I think Nebraska should be the favorite in the legends division. Quote Link to comment
Excel
Denard looked bad, real bad. MSU's win is good for NU as far as winning the division. Quote Link to comment
Husker B
I wasn't impressed by either team in this game. Both offenses were very sloppy and had turnover problems. Michigan's O-Line looked absolutely terrible. We should get a few sacks from crashing LBs like MSU had today. MSU's D looked ok, but nothing to warrant the attention they've been getting recently. I heard the commentators say they were one of the top defenses in the nation, right before they got burned on a slant that went for a long TD. Michigan had quite a few other big plays too. Â Michigan's backup QB is just as bad if not worse than OSU's. If for some reason Robinson is out, our chances should be right around 98 percent for a win. Quote Link to comment
MrBumstead
MSU's win is good for NU as far as winning the division. Â Absolutely. Michigan doesn't have to play Wisky, but MSU plays them next week, so MSU beating Michigan really leveled the standings for the division. Quote Link to comment
Haspula
MSU is ranked 3rd in points given up in the country. Their defense is serious business Quote Link to comment
huskerstuckinmichigan
Watched the game and neither teams was all that impressive. Michigan is clearly overated, and Michigan St. D has yet to play a real O (see again U of M is highly overated). As someone else said, feeling better about the Huskers chances to win our Division. The Pelini's didn't suddenly forget how to coach D. They will get it turned around, with guys SJB and Rome, we might finally see the missing pieces coming together on D. Offensively, we keep getting better and are quite the force to be reckoned with. Also, I am just not sold on Northwestern like some are and we have them at home. And, I don't see Penn St or Iowa challenging us, neither has looked good at all. I just hope we can make a game of it if we do get another shot at Wisconsin. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Third year in a row that MSU has given Michigan a serious reality check. Quote Link to comment
74Hunter
As bad as our d has been, I wouldn't chalk up a win. We couldn't stop a bad osu o,.meatchicken could give us fits. Hopefully msu loses to wiscy and meatchicken falls to illinois. Quote Link to comment
