Havent heard anything about him myself but ive expected him to decommit for ahwile now (even if it has nothing to do with us) ND just doesnt make any sense for him if he wants to be a QB. From his earlier comments we would be right at the top if he indeed decommits.

I'd most definitely prefer Zaire, i feel he's a more natural passer than Stanton. Might be perfect for Tim Beck as well.

Myself, I prefer Stanton. I just see a lot of Zach Collaros in him and think he'd be a perfect fit for our offense.

There is only one kid left that I have heard of that committed during BRW that isn't public. We'll see if it turns out to hold or not.

If Zaire de-commits from ND and wants "N" then we take him and Stanton. The coaches have room for a very large signing class this year so we can afford to take 2 QB's if they are both guys we could see being good enough to play in our system.

Basically, and it makes absolutely no sense, in my opinion. They came out of the blue. He doesn't seem as excited about Notre Dame as a commit should..

there is a lot of rumbling that MZ isn't solid to ND right now. Not sure that means NU is the reason, but the staff has not backed off.

I'd take MZ in a heart beat ... but if any of our current QB's, JS or MZ are gonna decommit because of any fear of competition I'd rather not have them associated with the team at all ... that crap has got to end.
