QB Brayden Scott [Memphis Commit]

BIG ERN

Seems we've offered quite a few QBs. Even some more pro style or spread guys. Any thoughts on an order of preference? Do you see us going away from a run first game plan and a more of a 60-40 pass-run ratio?

I think that is where the coaches would like to take it, from everything I read but that is just my guess.

Don't know if this has been posted or not “The thing I like about Nebraska is that I can relate to Taylor Martinez,” Scott told Huskers Illustrated. “Not to be bragging or take anything away from him, but I think my throwing ability is a little bit better than his. My running ability is just like his, maybe not as fast.

Yes! Someone else outside of Huskerboard who sees what we see. ;) Regardless, I like this kid. Kind of reminds me of Klein from KSU. Kid can throw, but he has no problem running over you either.

I think this kid is going to be tough to pull from OU.

College coaches will do a lot of things to make a recruit feel at home. For 2013 quarterback Brayden Scott (Tahlequah, Okla./Sequoyah), it was seeing an Oklahoma Sooners jersey ready for him to wear at OU’s junior day last Saturday.

“Every time I leave OU, I feel something special. I dream about what I could do there.”

Scott has attended OU camps since his eighth-grade year. It was then that he developed a relationship with Heupel.

If he is coming for Junior Day, we need to make a big impression if we really desire this kid.

So far no offer from either us or OU...

We have only offered 2 QBs so far. Looks like a lot of QBs are courting us for offers.

i think we have seen the light.........and the downside of a run first, pass last qb.

So in your professional opinion, what category does Armstrong fall into? Are you trying to say that we shouldnt have took Armstrong, and we are going to a pass first QB, or are you saying Armstong is a pass first QB?

Your getting all of this from offering ONE qb that can throw alot better then he can run vs all the other dual threats we have offered.
