If we can get the Skyline kid I'll be very pleased. if he did in fact out perform Armstrong that speaks volumes IMO? But these three are all so very close. If we can get all three, the staff will have a very hard time deciding who to take. Taking Jennings and Kincade wouldn't be a bad thing, but I would much rather have Kincade as of right now. At the Elite 11 camp in Dallas he was the most accurate passer there. No, no, no, some on this very board say he is too small and question if Kincade can make all the throws. They know their stuff. Luckily for anyone else that wants Jennings, UO has a Sophomore and a RS Frosh battling for a starting spot, with a lot of their fans excited about the RS Fr. Plus they brought in a 4 star and 3 star QB respectively last year. Quote Link to comment
The King Posted May 18, 2012 Share Posted May 18, 2012 U of O's situation at QB looks pretty solid. Bryan Bennett, the number 2 QB last year, has game experience. However, a freshman QB, Marcus Mariotta, has wowed everyone in practice and the spring game and has a decent arm. Word is that its going to go down to the wire, with Bryan Bennett's actual in game experience, vs. Marcus Mariotta's potential (probably already better than Bennett) but they don't know if it will translate. Chip Kelly isn't afraid of playing freshman difference makers, though. Oregon will be solid at QB for the next 4 years. Quote Link to comment
