Chaddyboxer
Reasons #1, #2, #7, and #9 are the main reasons why this Husker team will only lose 1-2 games in the regular season. I've been stating this all off-season. There are still question marks that will be answered once the season starts, but I am definitely optimistic about this season. I haven't been wrong the past 2 seasons in my W/L predictions. Let's get this season started and see what this team's made of!!! AHHH!!!! Quote Link to comment
Chaddyboxer
#4 could be thrown in there as well and is a big question mark....the o-line needs to play better for the offense to successful. There is some reason to believe this team can and will do good things. Quote Link to comment
OH HSKR FAN
I'm in full support of the team right now. Sipping the Kool Aid right now. Hopefully I will become more thirsty later this season. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
#4 and #8.......both make me nervous. Quote Link to comment

walksalone
#1, #4, #8, #9, & #10 all make me more nervous than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs... Quote Link to comment
tschu
I'm gunning for your starting spot, walksalone! Quote Link to comment
Blackshirts007
The article should be titled "Ten reasons the huskers win the 2012 MNC!!! Quote Link to comment
mrandyk
Those are all bright spots, but they don't cover the potential downfalls at all. I still feel like there is a very good chance the defense will be the reason we lose at least 3 games in conference play again. Quote Link to comment
ZRod
Reading #4 literally gave me chills for some reason. If our line stays solid this could be an exceptional season. Just the fact that with shaky play last year they were able to complete comebacks, maintain a lead in tight games, and create long scoring drives is something to be excited about this year. The team as a whole just needs to have complete games and they will be playing for championships. Quote Link to comment
mnhusker
I hope to see the season rolls out this way, I think the team can be better than last year as I think they left a lot on the table last year. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
As I've said ad nauseum, the line play is what makes or breaks this team.. #4 and #8 are the two most important points.... A good O line can make a mediocre QB and IB look good, and a good D line can make mediocre LB's and DB's look good... Quote Link to comment
Lil' Red
#4 is my main concern. I believe the O-line will make or break our offense. Quote Link to comment
Tatum
Not sure if I'm sipping the kool-aid this year; I see us being another 3-4 loss team. But that's not bad at all. This squad is young and we have almost no seniors starting this year. If Abdullah can shine, or maybe even Heard, than next year will be our time to shine. It'll be Martinez' senior year, well have a much more experienced squad, and a much easier schedule. But for this year, if we can pull off wins versus both Michigan and Michigan State, we'll be likely to face Wisconsin in Indianapolis, which is where the fun will start. Quote Link to comment
