knapplc
Via Twitter: @Sean_Callahan I'm hearing the Nebraska vs. Southern Miss game could potentially be in Kansas City now, and not New Orleans. Interesting Apparently the investment group in KC has offered Southern Miss a substantial amount of more money and it's guaranteed per a USM writer. Bottom line Kansas City would be a bigger pay day for Southern Miss than New Orleans and they need money right now if Johnson is fired. EDIT - Another tweet came up after I posted this: The USM writer I talked to said the KC investment group has offered a substantially larger amount of guaranteed money. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNationNick
I would travel to KC to watch the game! Quote Link to comment
darkhorse85
Ugh...I've already got my hotel booked in NO. Luckily it isn't a prepaid room. I guess we'll just wait and see now. Quote Link to comment
Lyons in the Sea of Red.
This would be so sick. Lets put a team inside Arrowhead that the people in KC can be proud of.... 1 Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Hmmmm...what would this bring in, 70K Husker fans? Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
this sucks. I was really looking forward to going to new orleans. Quote Link to comment
Creighton Duke
Should be quite the home field advantage for the Eagles. Wonder how Mr. Favre feels about the possibility... Quote Link to comment
wildman
in a way Kansas City would be better as it's a cheaper travel for most Husker fans that would attend. But New Orleans and Louisianna is much prettier than Kansas. As driving through both states just 2 weeks ago I'd vote for New Orleans any day;. Quote Link to comment
Branno
I really hope this happens. I'd love to be able to drive 2 hours and cheer for the Huskers and end seeing an extra game. Arrowhead is used to a sea of red, and I think we could turn that into a home game like atmosphere. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
Kansas City desperate for revenue to pay of the Arrowhead Renovation, cuz it sure the hell aint paying for itself. 1 Quote Link to comment

I thought KC had an NFL team....oh wait, nevermind. The fall classic between Northwest Missouri State and Pitt State isn't going to pay for the renovation? Quote Link to comment

As loyal as they come. This season is garbage. I'm having a hard time remembering to at the very least turn the radio on every Sunday. I joked with my boss at work (he's chiefs fan too) that it was a great football weekend. Huskers won and Chiefs didnt play. That's how disinterested I am right now. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNationNick
KC looked like they were on the right track. Its because they have that Hawkeye Stanzi on the roster. Bad luck, let me tell you Quote Link to comment
Lyons in the Sea of Red.
What are they going to do to Arrowhead? I know there were talks about wanting to put a roof on it, but that would be quite the undertaking. Quote Link to comment
HuskerinHouston
NO... this can not happen. I have my hotel in NO already! NO>KC by far! Quote Link to comment
