QMany
Northwestern Athletics and the Chicago Cubs announced on Tuesday (Feb. 5) an innovative, multi-year event and reciprocal marketing partnership that will showcase a wide range of Wildcats athletic programs at historic Wrigley Field in coming years, including baseball, lacrosse and five Wildcats football games. http://www.nusports..../020513aab.html Quote Link to comment
wiuhusker
Very smart on their part. Especially the baseball side of it. Would be tough to do early in the year due to weather but Wrigley would be a perfect spot for a college baseball tournament. And if Nebraska happens to have a football game there you can bet I will find a way to be inside Wrigley for that game. Quote Link to comment

C N Red
They going to sell beer at the games?? Quote Link to comment
Notre Dame Joe
Wait, so there will be more of those games where the offense can only go in one direction? Quote Link to comment
NUance
The dates for the five Wildcats football games are pending due to the scheduling of the Wrigley Field restoration project. Details on other game dates, opponents and ticket information for all Northwestern athletic events at Wrigley Field will be provided at a later date. Betcha NU plays at Wrigley in 2014. NW could have sold another 30k tickets to the Husker game this year. Of course they would have been wearing red. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Wait, so there will be more of those games where the offense can only go in one direction? Well, if they schedule their game against Illinois there, they could just have the Illini go toward the wall. Problem solved. Quote Link to comment

okaive
Hopefully NU won't play them there. I would hate for their fans to come on this board and accuse us for not allowing "new" fans to attend the game. Quote Link to comment
