husker_99
Pittsburgh, Arizona, Indianapolis, New Orleans, San Fran, Baltimore, Green Bay, New England, New York. That's 9 distinct teams. What the f#*k are you talking about putzo? Most of those are repeats. Meaning they aren't new teams. If you are going to say each team each year is distinct then that happens every year. Gotcha. I'll go smoke a bowl and then come back so I can speak in your language. I would suggest you go smoke a bowl just so you know what in the hell you are talking about. Says the guy who is completely wrong. I think somebody's just a little flustered that Miami didn't get Uncle Stern's good blessing in tonight's game. Nope. I can handle Miami losing and the Spurs winning. I don't complain like most of ya'll on here regardless of who wins or loses. Quote Link to comment

tschu
Hey 99, 28 of the 32 NFL teams have played in a Super Bowl, and 2 of the 4 to not make it are relatively new expansion teams. The reason that "no new teams" ever make the Super Bowl is that basically every team has already made the Super Bowl. Since I need to spell it out apparently. Quote Link to comment
tschu
In fact, my argument is made even stronger when you consider that in the past 5 years, as you pointed out, 3 of the 7 teams to not make it to the SB before that time period did in fact play in one. Amazing, really Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
I've come to a conclusion lately that Lebron is extremely overrated as a defensive player. JMO. He's a lot like Deandre Jordan. More show than substance. Great shot blocker, has the big exciting plays that get a lot of publicity to back his greatness, and really good in transition, but not what he's bragged up to be. PaulCrewe
I want to slap myself every time I cheer for the Spurs...I feel so dirty Embrace the hate young Skywalker Quote Link to comment
tschu
Well if you're a Spurs hater, embrace the fact that Miami couldn't have played any worse and still had a chance to win at the end Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
Well if you're a Spurs hater, embrace the fact that Miami couldn't have played any worse and still had a chance to win at the end Seriously?... D Wade - 17 Ray Allen - 13 Chris Bosh - 13 Mario - 8 Mike Miller - 5 Norris Cole - 5 That's playing like crap? That should be more than enough help for the almighty LBJ... No to mention that they held the Spurs to 92 pts. Quote Link to comment
tschu
So you just copied down their point totals? Did you watch the game? Horrible offensive efficiency. Bosh taking 3-pointers still for no reason. Wade making bad decisions His +/- was -11 on the night, lol. Wade's defense was terrible. Nothing out of Chalmers. Bron Bron was only 7 for 16 from the floor at 1 for 5 from downtown. (Of course he did have a triple double. Nobody else on the team feels like rebounding) Every player you listed except Ray Allen scored below their season average. That's about as bad as you could hope for if you're a Spurs fan. The Heat can play a lot better, they look kind of lost on offense, like they don't know whether to defer to LeBron or take command themselves Quote Link to comment
tschu
The Spurs can play better than that too. How scary is that? This series is setting up to be really awesome. I still think Heat in 7 Quote Link to comment

I hate the Heat more, though. I do respect the Spurs, but Im a Dallas fan, so I have to hate them Quote Link to comment
