The Duke
Great article by Steve Sipple in the Lincoln Journal Star. http://journalstar.com/sports/columnists/sipple/steven-m-sipple-crouch-has-new-hunger-to-succeed-as/article_b22660c5-9a96-5271-97a2-0e14262bd82c.html It looks like former Husker and Heisman Trophy winner Eric Crouch is learning the ropes to become a college football analyst. This Nebraska fan wishes him nothing but the best. He is easily in my Top 5 favorite Cornhuskers of all time. Good luck with this new venture Eric! Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
Couldn't agree more. He made a mistake within our program when he was a kid, and he has forever received to much backlash for it. And the whole thing with the NFL? Who cares, it was his life, and his decisions.... I've always felt that Crouch was our best QB in Nebraska history, and I am confident that the "fall of Nebraska football" would have came a few years earlier without him..... Good luck Eric, I hope you're a star! Quote Link to comment

StPaulHusker
I only saw him a couple of times commenting on games after he got started. I didn't think he did too bad. And with all of the sports channels starting up and massive coverage going on everywhere for everything, if he is half as good as some of the ex-NFL talking heads on other channels, he will do great. As far as greatest QB ever, no. Tommie Frazier will hold that distinction for at least a few more years. Just my humble opinion. With regards to "the fall", its tough to say because Solich made changes on his staff to get it going again and they went from 7-7 to 10-3. "The fall" was a Callahan and Pederson thing. The Duke
It looks like Eric Crouch's hard efforts have paid off, as he will join the Big Ten Network as one of it's new analysts. http://sports.omaha.com/2013/07/17/eric-crouch-joins-btn-as-analyst/#.UebZreCkLjQ BTN 2013 On-Air Talent: http://btn.com/2013/07/17/btn-announces-on-air-talent-for-2013-football-season/ 1 Quote Link to comment

I really liked him on the sidelines last year. He seemed a bit awkward, but that's to be expected, seeing as how it's his first sideline job. He seems to have a really good rapport with the players and coaches, though. Quote Link to comment

I've always respected his honest opinions on different subjects, while still remaining classy & professional without stepping on anyone's toes who may disagree with him. And you are absolutely right that he does seem to have a good rapport with the players and coaches. Congrats to both Eric & Damon! Quote Link to comment
