Brouhaha
Is it concerning to anyone else how many cornerbacks have been moved to safety? Andrew Green has been moved now according to the Rivals $ Board. It seems like the coaches are spreading the corners thinner than they already are. Although, I do agree that Green should have been playing at safety for awhile now. Always a good tackler and physical, but never been the greatest in coverage. Quote Link to comment
Saunders
Corner is the deepest position on the defense, so, let the athletes play. Quote Link to comment
NebraskaHarry
Well one way to look at it is we have 4 corners ahead of Green that are better. Mitchell, Baptiste, Rose, and Seisay are my guesses. Quote Link to comment
NebraskaHarry
I also kind of wonder how Davie is coming along? Quote Link to comment
Axl_sued_me
We don't need many true cover corners in the Big 10. Quote Link to comment
BaytownHusker
Sure we do.. How awesome would it be to have a true cover / shut down corner playing against Ohio state, Michigan. Take away their best WR threat and not have to worry about being beat out there. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Moving CB's to safety has more to do with getting your best guys out on the field. Bo has been trying to recruit bigger CB's so they can move to safety, if needed. Quote Link to comment

OSU's Wr's may not be scary but is scary how open they can get when the Qb scrambles and a avg corner out there covering on an Island. Quote Link to comment

RockyMountainOySker
I fully expect to see Charles Jackson back at corner following this season. Quote Link to comment
onlyHskrfaninIL
No, it actually makes me feel better about the corners that the coaches feel they can take a veteran guy and move him somewhere else. It will be great to have a senior guy out there pushing Cooper/Jackson because you know A. Green wants to get on the field. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirts007
Corner, safety same thing. The corner initiates contact and stay with the WR for 10 yards until a safety comes up to double coverage. They are all on receivers Quote Link to comment
