Wyoming can win against Nebraska if the Huskers shoot themselves in the foot a hundred times. Period.

Yeah, you guys would never lose to a 6 or 7 win team like Northwestern, Iowa State or CU.

Just in case you guys don't remember, Wyoming is right next door. A lot of us are kind of familiar with Neb and their history.

Those are all BCS schools. How does that pertain to Wyoming?

Yeah, we only play pee-on schools the past 10 years like Boise St, Utah, BYU and TCU

Yup, and we only play pee-wee schools like tOSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Georgia, South Carolina, Penn State, and Wisconsin.

And we've actually won some of those games.

Boom, roasted.

When those 4 schools are who you go to in order to reference your tough schedule, then your schedule is pretty f'n weak....

Compare that too.

Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio St., Michigan, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Washington, USC, Oklahoma St., Penn St., Wisconsin....

You are easy to laugh at my friend....

I s/h thrown in Air Force too,

but yes Pokes have managed to win a few of those games. But no not when those teams have good years.

But in the past 6 years Wyoming has managed to beat TCU, Utah, Virginia and Tennessee as well as teams like San Diego St, Fresno and Air Force.

If Neb doesn't show up and play well, they could get beat.

Hey! What about us????!??!!!

2012 - Boise St. 45-14

2011 - NU 38-14; TCU 31-20 Boise St. 36-14

2010 - Boise St. 51-6; TCU 45-0; Utah 30-6, BYU 25-20

2009 - Utah 22-10; BYU 52-0, TCU 45-10

Average score 38-10 and that includes playing a 7-6 BYU team in 2010

It's possible. Do you think that it's likely?

of course not likely. but possible? Yes

It was also possible that Idaho St. could have beaten us last year.

Of course, that scenario mainly involved a Beelzebub-sponsored snowball fight.

When I ranked teams at the end of the year (and I did it statistically, controlling for as much of the random noise that occurs in college football as I could) you ended up #96. Nebraska ended up #27. Whenever the disparity between the two teams is that high, the game is NOT close. You all are making a change to your defensive philosophy which could boost you or could drop you. We are making a change to our defense as well in terms of player athleticism which could boost or drop us as well (although the common knowledge is that more athleticism = better, whereas new scheme doesn't always equal better).

If I had to make a prediction, using the same method I used to predict the big games of week 1 (basically the ESPN Pick'em games), I would say:

Nebraska 56

Wyoming 21
