Dr. Mantis Toboggan
I don't get the love for Georgia, have not been impressed with them all year. Its not that they love UGA, the pollsters love the SEC. If UGA was in any other conference they wouldn't be ranked. Quote Link to comment
southernoregonhusker
Notre Dame is not ranked. Actually #38 (others receiving votes) I guess it depends on your opinion of what is ranked. "Also receiving votes" is not a ranking in my book. It's a Top 25 ranking. Quote Link to comment

tschu
I don't get the love for Georgia, have not been impressed with them all year. Its not that they love UGA, the pollsters love the SEC. If UGA was in any other conference they wouldn't be ranked. It's the injuries. They are probably the most injured team in CFB. Healthy Georgia has wins over South Carolina and LSU and barely lost @ Clemson, but injured UGA has losses to Vandy and Mizzou. Makes them hard to rank. I haven't looked at the rankings so I don't know where they are, but if they're ranked in the 18-25 range that seems fair. They are getting a few guys back and play a big game against Auburn (who is truly overrated by a decent amount) and I wouldn't be shocked at all if they beat the Tigers. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Nice to see Minnesota make an appearance. Good for them! : Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
While it bothers me that Texass is ranked and DoNU isn't, this issue will resolve itself if we win out. But Texass getting ranked after beating a 4-5 WV team that may not get a bowl? Sorry, but I don't see it--you put these two teams on a neutral field with officials that aren't bought and paid off by Texass (an important caveat, unfortunately), and Nebraska hangs 50 on them while their offense won't get out of the shadow of their own goalposts.
