GSG
I think I like the bottom one better but I'm not sure about that large V The rest looks really great now. I'm not seeing the "cone of shame" anymore Quote Link to comment

Minnesota_husker
The second one.. but i am not sure if i like the V or not... I do like the spacing better. Quote Link to comment
icedavis
Second one. I like the large V if its not a V...looks like a sword about to spike the head. And I say call it a day from there. Nicely done. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Second one looks pretty gnarly kc nitpicking - make sure the curve of the type matches the curve of the shield. I would adjust the shield to the letters and not the other way around. Quote Link to comment

AR Husker Fan
One thing - the V splitting the word Panthers. Makes me read it as "Pant Hers", which I can see being hysterical for 17-year olds. Why not have the word PANTHERS overlay the V? Quote Link to comment

HUSKER 37
One thing - the V splitting the word Panthers. Makes me read it as "Pant Hers", which I can see being hysterical for 17-year olds. Why not have the word PANTHERS overlay the V? Oh man!!! I was thinking that too...Does that make us both 17 year olds maturity wise? I'm no graphic designer, but my best friend slept with one we met at a Kansas City bar one night...But I was wondering...Do these things usually show a view from head-on like this?..As I was trying to focus/unfocus like you do while looking at those "3-D hidden image" pictures that someone gave me a book of in the '90's?..I too could see the original with it's mouth closed and also open.. I also had a little problem unseeing the cone of shame thing..and now for some reason I'm seeing Alley Oop? A Cartoon I vaguely remember reading as a child, but never knowing why.. One of the larger highschools out here (PHX area) that's about 4 miles away adopted KSU's Icon which was sorta nice until KSU ruined it for everybody..Besides, I think a school named "Mesquite" should have a mosquito as it's mascot.. Don't s'pose you could change the name of the school to Dillon.. Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
For uniqueness? I kinda like what the Carolina Panthers did with this (On their letterhead) Not saying you should totally scrap what you have so far..Just don't be afraid to if something hits you out of the blue..Do you plan on submitting only one choice? killer cacti
Thinking about simplifying the text and possibly going with another option for the logo/head/panther... Quote Link to comment
