Eric the Red
How likely is it that Beck made a call to Frost at Oregon to get the inside scoop on how to beat Mich St. defense? Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
Does it matter once you have the tape? Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
I think its possible but i dont think it happened. Beck already knows how and now he has his best oline to work with. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
I doubt it. I think he'll have a solid gameplan in place. Quote Link to comment
huskerhill
I thought I read this week that Oregon was in Nebraska during the off season and it was the other way around. Oregon was seeking Nebraska's advice 3 Quote Link to comment
Danimal
It wouldn't surprise me if Beck gave Frost a call. Film isn't the same as personal insight and Frost can give that. Frost called a better game against MSU than zona. I really don't get why they weren't running Mariota last night. When they cut Mariota loose that O is on another level. It's more dangerous to have him dropping back behind that meh line than running. Quote Link to comment

Going 30/40 with 325 and 4 tds' does. This I bet has a lot to do with it. And probably the fact that Oregon's Oline is really struggling and Mariota takes enough abuse outside the qb run game. ADS
Mariota got knicked up during the Washington State game and that might have been the reason they weren't running him that much. Plus that Oregon offensive line is pretty bad. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Someone brought this topic up on another board. A few people thought it was "crazy" I have coached football for a long time and coaches call/text/email all the time. I can remember way back when the playoffs would start, the HC's would be calling other coaches all day long, trying to get anything they could With Hudl...its a bit different but they still chat all the time. Redux
Oh I think Beck called up Frost. Except it was from a burner phone and he asked if he could find Mike Rotch. Quote Link to comment

Last year it didn't come out that he was hurt til after the Stanford game, a game in which like last night he suddenly quit being a running qb. Quote Link to comment
