HuskerfaninOkieland
At least we didn't get blown out. That counts for something right? Quote Link to comment
Nebraskafan2014
Here was the outlook on Stanton in the Omaha World-Herald at the beginning of the season: When this power-running signal-caller knew where he was supposed to throw the ball in spring camp, good things happened. Really good things. When decisive, Stanton looked every bit as good as any quarterback the Huskers have had since Joe Ganz. But he wasn’t often decisive, and Stanton running laterally, looking for receivers, isn’t the same weapon as Stanton pitched forward. Still, in the spring game, Stanton played his best, completing 8 of 12 passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns. He hasn’t caught Tommy Armstrong for the starting job and he’s neck-and-neck with walk-on Ryker Fyfe for the backup spot, but if Stanton can keep drilling in the offense and learning what works, he could surpass both. The upside is there. Give it up. Yeah, give it up. No one wants to hear your facts. Seriously, you two should shut the hell up. I hope we start Stanton. He won't do sh#t either. He's clearly a world beater being 3rd string with all that great QB talent we've got ahead of him. Never know unless you try. I'm just saying he was considered a blue-chipper for a reason. I have read this thread for a little while just to get some insight and I literally JUST created an account to tell you to shut the hell up. We get it. You watch film, you told the nebraska staff about a quarterback, you did this and that, you are jesus, whatever. Nobody cares. You aren't a coach, you aren't anybody that matters. Shut up and watch the game. You don't know more than everybody else. You are not that far above everyone that you're the one with the key to whats right. Shut up. No one cares. You have no idea what you are talking about. 1 Quote Link to comment
Sargon
Wow. Shocked. That was a garbage flag. No way was that catcahble. B10 refs really are TERRIBLE. At least they are terrible in a better way than Texass's refs Quote Link to comment

HuskerfaninOkieland
MSU fans have every right to boo that TD. That PI flag was bullsh#t Quote Link to comment
Karawithasmile
Super bummed we are going to lose like this, but most disappointed for Abdullah. Guy is so deserving. And if he had a fraction of the talent around him that Gurley has, this wouldn't even be question. Quote Link to comment
The Nebraskan Assassin
Too little, too late, sadly. Welp, I guess the best we can hope for at this point is to run the table and make the conference championship game. It's certainly doable, considering our schedule. Quote Link to comment
louisianared
In college if there is intential contact with the receiver when a pass is thrown in his area it is a flag, catchable or not Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
That PI was the make up call for the whistle on the non-fair catch. Better late than never? Quote Link to comment
ithinkiloverg44
I know its probably not realistic but 3 timeouts down two possessions....no way right? Quote Link to comment
