BigRedBuster
Kansas - obviously home town. Bad team. Goes through coaches pretty often. Nebraska - 193 miles Missouri - 167 miles OU - 332 miles OSU - 283 miles TCU - 519 miles 1 Quote Link to comment

Treand3
That OU trip makes me nervous. Quote Link to comment
girlknowsfootball
I think we have a good shot. But I think his body is shaping up into him projecting as a tackle and not an end. He's gonna be 280 by the time he graduates. Quote Link to comment
Amac3309
Well this is surprising and relally sucks!! Quote Link to comment
ADS
Actually it's not surprising. We've never really had a chance. Probably going to end up at OU. Quote Link to comment
Treand3
OU or ucla if he's truly ok with leaving home. Maybe KU. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
lolz. I'm guessing we aren't recruiting him very hard. Quote Link to comment

Sometimes players don't jive with what coaches are looking for... Just sayin', not being bitter that he didn't list us in his top 5. Quote Link to comment
Treand3
This was over well before Riley set foot in Lincoln. In Kelly's case being from Kansas, his recruitment was very odd, exception to the norm for "heartland" kids. If this happens again next year then my attitude will be different. Quote Link to comment

So this is a guy who visited for a game last year, visited for the spring game, supposedly wants to stay close to home and had us in his top 10 a week ago but was gone over nine months ago? I don't buy it. We might not have been in the lead but we were in the conversation. Quote Link to comment

OU was ahead of Nebraska before Riley was hired, hell he didn't even like the last scheme as it stood. Also going to OU still fulfills the need to stay close to home. I just thought we had a better chance with the new staff and the fact that Montgomery had moved on, but that wasn't the case. Now he could really do something whacky and commit to KU.
