It'sNotAFakeID
Sipple thinks the score should have been 24-7. Did he forget we had a 10-point swing with a blocked FG return? 17-10 seems much more like the "real" score I dislike the whole, what the "real" score should be. The real score is 21-7. If batman was our qb we would be up 56-7 EXACTLY Quote Link to comment
Redman
Well, its halftime! Time to relax........ Had a lead last week too....and we saw what happened there. I am not celebrating, I'm coping Quote Link to comment
beanman
Konichiwa bitches!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is your assessment of Beck in the first half? Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
The halftime score is good. But looking deeper at it, there are still many things that are very concerning. Minn has 138 rushing yards at the half, Pelini teams do not tend to win games where the opponent rushes for 200+ The Huskers are hanging their hat on passing in the first half, and that typically spells disaster as a game goes on for Pelini teams. Play of the first half is far and away the blocked FG for a TD. Agree with all of this. It's great we're winning, but big picture, the problems from last week are still there and part of the fabric of the team. Quote Link to comment

Of course, having to worry about the Joker blowing up our QB in a warehouse during the offseason would suck, though. Quote Link to comment

admo
Konichiwa bitches!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is your assessment of Beck in the first half? lots of passing, went to last years sideline to sideline passing scheme especially in first quarter, didn't run too much, had an early 3rd and 3 and TA threw one deep to KB 25 yards downfield - actually floated the pass - Bell was wide open - TA avoided sack on the play before throwing - bell goes for 73 yards but head bounces on turf as he was tackled - concussed. The first 10 minutes of the game saw 4 huskers getting hurt, stopping play. Pelini out at center, Bell gone, RG returned as did Alonzo Moore I think. You really haven't missed much. Beck has favored the passing game today and not much of Ameer. Quote Link to comment
