But I'll bet you there's a football coach on it Isn't there an airport somewhere in Oregon?probably. But the team is in santa clara for the game friday night. skersfan Posted December 3, 2014 Share Posted December 3, 2014 Yes it is sker, I am not for it, but would support it. Too much background with great coaches to overlook. Still would prefer Tressel, maybe Richt, but someone that truly knows the lay of the land. It will be a learning process, and if he is willing to take on qualified OC/DC he could be great. I think the same could have been said about Bo. My problem with Bo, who honestly I wanted hired originally in 2003, was what happened during the bowl, and the year after he left the program. Wrong things in my mind. And if you are as close to Tom as you indicate, you know these things. My guess that there was no parting meeting, and not by Bo's choice. There maybe a very long tail come out of all this, that not a lot of people are going to like. My respect for a certain individual keeps me as close to silent as I can be on all of it. But if it does come out, you will instantly understand his not making any meeting. Quote Link to comment

Neuman1 Posted December 3, 2014 Share Posted December 3, 2014 Man Count, I really do not see him leaving prior to the CCG this weekend. Preparations would be the teams primary deal, no? I honestly can see him being selected, but my guess is that SE has some guidance requirements, counseling on OC and DC, but who knows. I know some think I am a Debbie Downer, but just knew to much about Bo and his past here. Supported Frank till the day he left and as much as I hate to say I was wrong on BC, did the same. Will give who ever is selected undying support for them, no matter who it ends up being. Praying it is Tressel. Scott is a smart kid, a wealth of knowledge from some of the greatest coaches of all time.
