husker_fan_from_sweden
After reading through the guys bio one line absolutely floored me and provided some much needed encouragement of what Mike will bring to the Big Red.·September 8, 2012 – Defeats No. 13 Wisconsin in Corvallis (10-7) rest of the bio here,http://www.osubeavers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=207912459 Quote Link to comment
IlliniHusker
Two items surprised me: His 3 wins over teams ranked #3 USC, #1 USE and #2 Cal. Can't remember the last time NU beat a top 10 team. His contract thru 2021 ... that's 7 years ... any idea what it cost to buy out his contract? GBR Quote Link to comment

GBR $500k Kyle Bonagura @BonaguraESPN 3h3 hours ago Mike Riley would have earned a minimum of $9,050,016 over the next five years under his OSU deal that ran through Jan 2020. carlfense
Pelini fired for 4 losses for several seasons This guy has lost AT LEAST 4 since ’03. And I think his best season matched Pelini's best season . . . except Riley had to do it at Oregon State. 3 Quote Link to comment

BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Before he and Erickson built that program up it rivaled Kansas State before Snyder. Horrific! Can't wait to see what he can do with better players and resources. Quote Link to comment
RyouN?
Before he and Erickson built that program up it rivaled Kansas State before Snyder. Horrific! Can't wait to see what he can do with better players and resources. And don't forget Snyder struggled before his little change of pace. 2004- (4-7) 2005 - (5-6). That's for those saying Riley is in a downward trajectory. Don't know if he is as good as Snyder as far as turning around a dead beat program but with support and lots of funds to spend on assistants, he can be better than Snyder... Quote Link to comment
Hujan
We beat Wisconsin that year, too. And yet, we didn't. And let them score 10 times as many TDs in the process. (No exaggeration.) Quote Link to comment

The Dude
Don't know if he is as good as Snyder He's not - and there's no shame in that. Snyder is a goddamned wizard. Quote Link to comment
