shyndy
Riley will have a staff that puts our previous staff to shame IMO I was one who defended Bo until last year, but I think even the stoutest of Bo fans had to be extremely skeptical of many of his staff choices. Riley can just bring everyone from OSU and do better, let alone that he likely has more contacts out there and that he is the type of person anyone would want to work under. Quote Link to comment
BigRedPowerWagon
Chaddyboxer Brian Rosenthal @HuskerExtraBR · Riley: "One of my jobs is to hire people better than me, who are going to add to what we do." 1 Quote Link to comment
teachercd
If that is the case and if he means it...then Ed-O is a no brainer, right? If he doesn't try to hire him...well that quote doesn't mean as much. You basically have a really good DL coach that is also one of the very best recruiters out there that is all but begging for a job... Quote Link to comment
ADS
This man gets "it". Seems like a good "get" so far. Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
Would love to see Ed-O. Probably one of the best candidates to return the Blackshirts to their glory. Quote Link to comment
Ric Flair
Love this attitude. We're going to love this guy. Quote Link to comment
Glendower
My staff puts Knapp's staff to shame if you know what I mean. What's with all the phallic stuff lately? Name-Comment synergy! I have wondered that, too. A lot of talk about getting erections about coaches. Kind of... different. 1 Quote Link to comment
Husker from Kansas
Riley is one of the few coaches who could come in and knowingly bring in a HC in waiting such as Scott Frost ( I dont think that is going happen right away though) I think that Riley will bring in a quality OC but I dont think that will be Frost, I dont think that Riley plans on coaching at NU for just a couple years, 61 isnt super old, it wouldnt surprise me if he coaches another 10 years. ladyhawke
I would love to see them hire Scott Frost as OC and HC in waiting. THAT would be brilliant. Quote Link to comment
jeams
Any thoughts on who from his current staff he would likely bring with him? Quote Link to comment
Danimal
He is Eichorst's guy and Shawn's job pretty-much rides on Riley. You can be sure the money will be flowing when it comes to hires, and money talks. Quote Link to comment
DelK
I'd rather see one or even two more losses a year if we can eliminiate the raging at officials, players, administration and fans and anyone who disagrees with the HC. This old world does not need more rage. Quote Link to comment

If he brings most of his previous staff, we need to question that tweet. Quote Link to comment
noname87
If we do land Coach O, imagine what he could do with the D Line we have already. They would me scary good over the next couple years Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
you guys, today on svp, he said that he has a system that he is not married to. that it is about adaptability. evaluating your players and running plays they can succeed in. very exciting indeed. Quote Link to comment
