Eric the Red
http://www.omaha.com/huskers/mckewon-pressure-s-off-but-huskers-holiday-bowl-challenge-is/article_a86bd6ce-8cb5-11e4-9cdd-0b7d0ad88661.html There isn’t a lick of pressure. Pelini’s job isn’t on the line, and neither are those of his assistants — most of them are out, too. There’s no “statement” to make for next year, because a new staff will invariably reset the narrative in spring ball. Quote Link to comment
junior4949
So, do we not even show up for the game? Or, do we play the best game of the season? Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
So, do we not even show up for the game? Or, do we play the best game of the season? Do we have enough punch after an early setback? I'm having a tough time thinking we can out together a great effort just simply do to attitude and frustration by some players, also coaches having to pack up their offices and looking for employment. Hunter94
hope the kids play well, but talent wise we are simply over matched......they also have too much speed and are wayy better coached! Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
Most of the Sr. will want to win and their are several who will want to show the new staff what they can do. The questions lies in the coaching staff being able get them to play together. The purple dinosaur, Beck & Poch do not excite me. Quote Link to comment

SouthLincoln Husker
I will cheer for my Huskers, but I do not have much hope. It's a gloomy morning in NE, hopefully the Huskers can brighten it up. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
Kessler will be on Heisman watch next season too. Quote Link to comment
TonyStalloni
I'll go into this game like I have done for much of the last 15 years. Understanding and hoping that a less than perfect game is good enough to win and cheering every effort they put forth. 1 Quote Link to comment
Redux
With the way this season went, I was burned out on it after the Wiscy game. Im hoping for a win, dont expect one at all. Im not even pumped up for it like normal, it is what it is. Next year brings so much unknown I dont even know what to expect. But Saturday I expect a decent showing by a half motivated team and a 10 point loss to seal off this era of Husker Football. Pretty glum way to think about it but its all I got. Come gametime Im sure Ill be more amped though. Quote Link to comment
junior4949
I see this game playing out one of two ways. We either come out with our hair on fire and put on the best performance of the year, or we come out and fold like a folding chair. I'm guessing the score won't be very close either way probably a 20+ point spread. Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
Kessler will be on Heisman watch next season too. Recently, Nebraska has been good at putting players on the Heisman watch list. Hopefully this is one more trend Riley can reverse. Quote Link to comment
ShawnWatson
Papuchis is running the defense and Barney is leading the team, what could go wrong? Quote Link to comment

True2tRA
This means nothing to me. This team has shown they can dominate and/or fail regardless of the circumstances surrounding the game. There is just no predicting what kind of team or effort you'll see with these guys. I hope in the future that changes, but right now that's just how it is. This is aprime time night game so there is that. A lot of eyes will be on this one. Quote Link to comment
