At least he admitted it's about being close to home, not actually about football. (As he said a week ago) Quote Link to comment
Huskinator
Well that or maybe he knows he will start there....he very well may not here. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
This one hurts...the only one that would have been worse is Snyder but this one is way up there and a bit disappointing. Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
Good luck to him, not really sure if he would have started here anyways. Quote Link to comment
Amac3309
Good luck to him, not really sure if he would have started here anyways. He would have been. Great depth though! With Santos coming off some sort of major surgery and if the rumors of another LB bring suspended a few games for grades end up true, would have been nice to have some experience Quote Link to comment

Huskinator
I agree. He may have started and contributed to to this team. I don't want to sound like sour grapes because I think he made an excellent choice, but I just don't think this as big of a loss as you guys think. I think a freshmen could make the some contributions. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
How could choosing Rutgers over Nebraska be a GREAT choice? Â It's possible he won't even get to showcase his talents in a bowl game next season. Quote Link to comment
Huskinator
Home team, family and friends, who he grew up loving and being a star on a team and recording the most tackles or out shining others..... Don't let your love for Nebraska cloud your judgment of a kid who made a decision. I think he made the best choice for him. Maybe he doesn't care about winning...maybe he just wants to showcase his talents. Read his twitter it's all about making it to the league Quote Link to comment

You are the one who called it an excellent choice, which I disagree with. You aren't going to convince me to become a Rutgers fan or believe that playing for them makes it easier for someone to get to the NFL. Heck, is it even a lock that Rutgers was his favorite team growing up? I wasn't sure that it wasn't Penn State. It's great that he believe Rutgers is the best school for him to play at, I just call that the wrong decision. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Not really surprising. The chance to be able to play in front of his family was too strong of a pull. Quote Link to comment
