RunMickeyRun02
Bradley Delp - rock group Boston singer (Deceased) Ronnie James Dio (Deceased) Elvis (Deceased) I guess the good do die young. BTW: Eddie Veddar has always sounded like the cowardly lion from the Wizard of Oz to me. "I'M Hungrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy.................... He kinda looks like him too. Esp. in the "Jeremy" video. IIRC Dio was pushing 70 when he died, not bad for a rock star. Quote Link to comment
Hammerhead
In no particular order: Robert Plant Chris Cornell Axl Rose (yeah he's a jerk, but he could sing back in the day) Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
Roy Orbison Layne Staley Michael Johnson Sting Chris Cornell Robert Plant Freddy Mercury Van Morrison John Lee Hooker Boz Scaggs Some of my favourites, but probably none of them would make it on one of those Idol shows... Quote Link to comment
NUinID
It really depends on the genre. I would have a hard time picking just 3 in the Rock category that are my favorites IMO best voices just on pure ability Freddy Murcury- You don't see 4 octave range in men too often. Chris Cornell- Also a great voice and range Sebastian Bach - He used to have a great voice but ruined it from all the partying Ronnie James Dio- Great voice clear up to his death I love listening to Nat King Cole sing. His voice is so soothing. Quote Link to comment
funhusker
Michael Jackson Garth Brooks Elton John Honorable mentions: Billy Joel, Steve Tyler, George Strait, Chris Ledoux, James Taylor, and The Temptations. My music tastes are all over the place. If it sounds good, I'll listen to it. I can't think of a song of any of these guys that I can't listen to without enjoying. 2 Quote Link to comment

Not a fan of Broadway, his singing sounds like he's having a live hamster shoved up his ass, and he's originally from New Jersey... Quote Link to comment
