Just in case you didn't believe it, check out the front page of espn. No headlines of Arkansas getting thumped by Toledo, nor of Auburn nearly getting beat by Jacksonville St., or any headlining of Oklahoma taking out Tennessee. Total and complete bias. There is no objectivity whatsoever.

I agree with the OP. In fact, I thought of starting a similar thread. They (during games) referred to the SEC games as flukes, and in other segments, talk about how the Big10 got man handled in games (this was prior to Mich/Mich St's wins). And if you don't think it matters, your wrong.

For the most part yes. They got it right at the end.

There should really only be a max of 7 SEC teams "ranked" tomorrow.

It may not matter for the playoffs so much anymore, which is good. But it matters with media coverage for a few critical months during prime recruiting season. All that free publicity and positive branding is a big deal.

 

Glad a few of those overrated teams were exposed already. And it's hilarious that Pig Suey Bielema lost to Toledo after complaining about Ohio State's "easy" schedule.

I did notice during the BYU game, they were going through the list of top 10 teams and talked about 3 different teams winning in the last second, or whatever. And they pretended the Auburn game didn't happen

It goes against their default narrative. No one can compete with the SEC. Especially not FCS teams.
