Bowfin
I'm not sure how smart Cook is after I saw his post-game interview and he said there hadn't been a finish to a football game like that in "hundreds and hundreds of years." LOL! Becuz football players, Am I right? Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
The best part of the entire thing is the look on Harbaugh's face. Priceless. As a Michigan QB, I'm sure he is just like the players and fans in wanting to kick MSUs azz. On top of that, he knew he was going to have to face the reporters. Awesome!!! Quote Link to comment
NoLongerN
No gloating here at all. I felt bad for Michigan. They deserved the win. Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
No gloating here at all. I felt bad for Michigan. They deserved the win. Totally. It took a once in a lifetime play for the Spartans to win that game. Quite the turnaround for Michigan this season. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Hey...I feel bad for the players. Especially the punter. But....Harbaugh's face is still funny. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Jalen Watts-Jackson recovered it and ran 38 yards for the winning touchdown. (Watts-Jackson subsequently dislocated his hip.) LINK Bet it hurt like hell being on the bottom of that pile with a dislocated hip. Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Oh man... That's poor guy's face is gonna live on in infamy. That's hilarious. Hate to hear about the death threats though. That is always disgusting. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
What the Hell was wrong with the Michigan State players who couldn't figure out that their guy had a dislocated hip? One guy shaking him by the helmet as the injured guy is yelling and swatting at him. Don't any of them speak English or do they only communicate by Twitter these days?! This is how football players fall into the "they are not very smart" conversation. They had two smart guys on the team (Cook being the other) and they knocked one out for maybe the rest of the season. Anyhow, my brother in law and I were at a family reunion and we sneaked into the den and watched the last minute and a half of the game. So I'll file that one away with Flutie's Hail Mary and Ron Kellogg's Hail Mary. lol come on man in that environment, with the adrenaline flowing, the screaming, the excitement, the dogpile, etc., it's pretty normal that they wouldn't notice anything. i've been involved personally in some moments similar to that and you never remember a single thing you just lose your mind. Yeah, but LOMS those were all at a strip club. It's a little different environment. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Pretty good review of the game by BTN. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
That is not the same play that lost the MSU game. I'm pretty sure it's not even the same punter. Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
And in this week's episode of ask Brady Hoke... Ex Michigan coach Brady Hoke was asked, and he says he wouldn't have punted. "Personally, if we have the No. 1 defense in the nation I'm going to test those guys." - Brady Hoke 2 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
And that's (part of) the reason why he's now the "ex-" Michigan coach. Not punting there would be absolutely stupid. Even getting off a terrible punt would have run the clock down to one play and put MSU out of field goal range. Absolutely no reason not to punt. /of course, I'm sure he ACTUALLY would have punted, too. Just trying to save any semblance of face from the dumpster fire he left there. Quote Link to comment
