thatguy
if the recent weeks story is true, then that probably explains why his mechanics were so bad against wisconsin why he was really avoiding contact on some of his throws. it also really points to a staff that should have known better than to rely on his arm and leg as much as they did the past few weeks. if you know a guy won't be 100%, why wouldn't you make other plans which you follow if you see that the guy isn't playing well? Blackshirts007
At least people will shut the hell up about benching Tommy after Saturday. Quote Link to comment
clyde40
Gonna be the Ryker Fyfe show. Brian Christopherson @HuskerExtraBC 1m1 minute ago Armstrong watched Thursday's practice in sweats and a walking boot on right foot. Riley says he's out. My sources have confirmed this. They also added that Tommy's leg has come completely off "Day to day right now" - Bo Pelini Quote Link to comment
hskrfan4life
Interesting to see what this does for the offense. Need a spark. Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
I will say this, if Tommy makes the tri he will be the biggest cheerleader that Fyfe has. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
I would be shocked if Tommy came back against Michigan St, or even for the rest of the regular season. Turf toe is one of those nasty injuries. Devin Hester for the Falcons got it this season and hasn't played in over a month. Hester explains his injury in this article, notice the part where he says it slowly got worse... http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/178637/falcons-devin-hester-prepared-to-sit-out-until-turf-toe-heals Quote Link to comment
Bowfin
Riley on Armstrong: "Between yesterday and today, it took a little turn for the worse." Oh my gosh, not again! I wonder what he kicked??? Quote Link to comment
