Celebration Thread!!!

There'll be time to hope that this game wasn't just a flash in the pan for Nebraska. There'll be time to worry about if winning in Piscataway next week. There'll be time for that later. For now, Nebraska is the only team to have claimed the scalp of #7 Michigan State. Argue the call all you want, but this team fought and fought and fought and fought.

They fought without Jordan Westerkamp for 1.5-2 quarters. They fought without Alonzo Moore. They fought as a dilapidated secondary trying to figure out a new scheme against an elite Big Ten QB who--aside from the first quarter--tore them apart for the entirety of the game. They fought even as MSU made play after play when it mattered the most. They fought after going down 12 with 4:30 left in the game. They fought overmatched against a stout and probably B1G best front 7.

When you do that, you'll eventually be rewarded. "This team just needs to experience something tangible that'll let them believe that what they're [the coaches] will work. This was a big win for a program trying to find its way. We will hope that this will be a spark that'll reignite the long dormant flame that is the Nebraska football program. For now, it's time to celebrate.

Go Big Red!
