brophog
Rutgers got stomped by the top teams but they put up pretty good numbers against the middling teams. We better come to play and not be goofing around.Would be nice to see the defense hold a team under 1000. They petitioned the league to play Indiana every week. Quote Link to comment
brophog
Maryland has three consecutive punts not cross mid field. Quote Link to comment

MichiganDad3
I have no faith in this coaching staff. I put the game as a toss up. If we have less than 3 turnovers and less than 7 penalties we win. Quote Link to comment

topekahusker
Take away the number of cable subscribers for the BTN to tap, I always wondered why Rutgers would even have been considered for BIG membership. I'll always look unfavorably on them for their treatment of the Navy Midshipmen who visited a few years ago: "Navy was booed and peppered with "You suck!" chants when they stepped on the field for both halves. Toward the end of the second half, Rutgers students in the new bleacher section began to serenade the adjacent section of Navy fans and uniformed Midshipmen. ''F--- you, Navy. F---you, Navy. F--- you, Navy." http://blog.nj.com/njv_mark_diionno/2007/09/obscene_fans_at_rutgers_draw_a.html Quote Link to comment

Anyone brave enough, dedicated enough and smart enough to attend a military academy should be treated with a great deal of respect. These players are the backbone of our country. I wish the staff would use this in the pre-game speech to motivate the Huskers. This is the one time I say run up the score! 1 Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
https://twitter.com/HuskerExtraBR/status/665542986734903296It's gonna be windy, but nothing like the Illinois game. Winds will diminish through out the game. Probably around 16 mph at Kickoff and about 11 mph towards the end of the game. I think winds were around 40 mph for the Illinois game. Quite a substantial difference than today's weather.http://m.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/graph/New+Brunswick+NJ+08901:4:US Still, wind = 40+ passing attempts and giving Rutgers the wind in the fourth Whatever, Chicken Little. Oh, if only you could point towards factual evidence to debunk this theory Quote Link to comment
Dansker
I have a feeling that this is going to be another high scoring game. Could go either way... Quote Link to comment
brophog
Sparty finally figures out you don't need to run plays to beat Maryland. Pulling ahead without Cookie Monster. In other ugliness, Northwestern and Purdue tied at 14 heading to 4th. Quote Link to comment
