PaulCrewe
First in practices he told Lugenbill no visits. Then in the interview raved about playing for orgeron and there new DL coach as well as being a tiger. Again props to JP for intriguing the kid, but it was never gonna happen Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Ah, guess I'll believe it until I see more about his visits hah. Quote Link to comment
Wordek
Word on the street is this kid is committed to LSU. Quote Link to comment
seaofred92
so what actually happened here? He was all set to visit this weekend and now there seems to be just nothing Quote Link to comment
ADS
LSU kept Ed Oregeron and he solidified his commitment. 1 Quote Link to comment
seaofred92
LSU kept Ed Oregeron and he solidified his commitment. right but he confirmed to HOL that he was going to visit this weekend right before the dead period began and they had already stated they were keeping Orgeron before that. seaofred92
this is from about a week ago on NOLA.com http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2017/01/tyler_shelvin_looking_to_take.html "Shelvin is planning to take his official visit the same weekend Wilson does. Wilson's official visit is scheduled for Jan 13. Shelvin's official visit isn't just a chance for him to recruit however as he is looking to learn more about LSU's business program. "I already know what the football team is," Shelvin said. "I got a couple friends there but mostly their academics, I want to major in business and see what that really is like down there." Shelvin will then visit Nebraska and conclude his officials with a trip to Alabama. He said he's looking at similar things on those visits citing "the support systems they have" for student athletes in terms of tutoring and other resources to aid in academic success." Mavric
There are a lot of guys who say they're going to visit. Even "definitely" going to visit. And then it doesn't happen. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
I'm guessing Orgeron gave him an ultimatum. And, I would guess that Orgeron was more concerned about him visiting Alabama than visiting here. Quote Link to comment
NU jumper alum
Wondering if a move to a 3-4 and a great opportunity to start day 1 improves our chances here Quote Link to comment

teachercd
Wondering if a move to a 3-4 and a great opportunity to start day 1 improves our chances here I would guess that he would start/or play a lot no matter where he goes. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Visiting LSU this weekend. Supposedly still "considering" a visit here next weekend but I won't be surprised if that doesn't happen. Quote Link to comment
