I sold hot dogs at the games from 1992-2003. Great gig. Made like $70/ game and never had to work past the 3rd quarter. Saw lots of good games in there. Have had shared season tickets since 2006. Went to some good away games.

1992 @ Kansas where Calvin Jones got loose.

1997 Orange Bowl

2000's @ Colorado where we got beat, got pelted with sized D Batteries. Acquired a CU tailgates' keg for the ride home because college.

2006 Big XII at Arrowhead Stadium.

2012 & 2014 @ Northwestern because Chicago.

'08 San Jose State: Nebraska won 35-12.

'08 Kansas: Nebraska won 45-35. That was when Kansas was still good!

'10 Texas: Nebraska loses 20-13. All that hype and then Gilbert Grape ran all over us.

'10 Colorado: Nebraska wins 45-17.

'11 Chattanooga: Nebraska wins 40-7. Damion Stafford had a pretty big hit that game.

'11 Fresno State: Nebraska wins 42-29. A lot closer than people were expecting, but we did get a nice glimpse of Ameer Abdullah.

'11 Washington: Nebraska wins 51-38. Enough scoring to make your head spin. Washington's defensive coordinator got called for a personal foul trying to one-up Bo Pelini.

'11 Ohio State: Nebraska wins 34-27. Game speaks for itself.

'11 Michigan State: Nebraska wins 24-3. Early game, super hungover. Thank God for tailgate food. One of the most comprehensive victories against a ranked team that I've witnessed in person.

'11 Northwestern: Nebraska loses 28-25. Only to be followed up with this dud of a game.

'11 Iowa: Nebraska wins 20-7. This series is really odd as this has been the only time the home team has won in this series since Nebraska joined the Big 10.

'12 Southern Miss: Nebraska wins 49-20. It was really, really hot this game. Like 90+ with a 70 dewpoint. People were being carried off in stretchers due to heat exhaustion/stroke.

'12 Arkansas State: Nebraska wins 42-13. Don't remember much from this game, it was that uneventful.

'12 Idaho State: Nebraska wins 73-7. Game was over from the start, and got so bad that fans were doing the wave and all of its variants in the second quarter.

'12 Wisconsin: Nebraska wins 30-27. Fantastic game, fantastic atmosphere, and another comeback.

'12 Michigan: Nebraska wins 23-9. I remember being concerned about Denard Robinson running all over the defense. Didn't happen and we kept Michigan out of the end zone that chilly night.

'12 Penn State: Nebraska wins 32-23. Oh what a game this was! Another comeback! I remember Nebraska opening the 2nd half with a nice TD drive and then Damion Stafford getting an interception of Matt McGloin. Place was electric again.

'12 Minnesota: Nebraska wins 38-14. Capped off an undefeated home season.

'13 Wyoming: Nebraska wins 37-34. A nervy game to start the season.

'13 Southern Miss: Nebraska wins 56-13. Much better.

'13 UCLA: Nebraska loses 41-21. Up 21-3 with a few minutes left in the first half, UCLA scores 38 unanswered points to win. The only game I left early.

'13 South Dakota State: Nebraska wins 59-20. A pretty uneventful game, but I remember SDSU's running back having a good day against our defense.

'13 Illinois: Nebraska wins 39-19. Kenny Bell had an amazing grab which he ran in for a TD before shushing the home fans.

'13 Northwestern: Nebraska wins 27-24. The Hail Mary. I think Nebraska was down 21-7 into the 3rd quarter of this one. Avery Moss had a pick-six.

'13 Michigan State: Nebraska loses 41-28. Five turnovers led to 24 MSU points in their first win against Nebraska in school history.

'13 Iowa: Nebraska loses 38-17. I don't think Tommy even played this game, and Ron Kellogg managed to turn it over a few times. Not a great way to end the home season.

'14 Illinois: Nebraska wins 45-14. Went with a friend who was an Illinois alum. She knew Illinois wasn't good and hadn't been good in a while, but loved her first Husker game regardless.

So overall, I'm 22-5 in my 27 Husker games. Also, can you tell when I was a UNL student?

NU was actually losing at halftime and only up 4 through 3 quarters. NU blew the game open in the 4th.

+1. Also, who wears Oregon gear to a Husker game?

My very first game was the snow bowl against Kansas State in I believe 1986. Went to my second game in 89'. I don't remember who we played, but it was during the state fair. I didn't get to another game until my older brother started college which was 91'. I went to most of them from the 93' season through the 95' season when I was in college. I graduated before the 96' season, so I didn't get to any other games until 2001 when I attended the first game after 9/11 which I believe was against Rice. My next and last game I attended was in 2003 when we absolutely laid the wood to Texas A&M. After the 03' season, I really haven't felt the need to go back and watch a game live. I've been pretty fortunate as I've probably gone to around 20 games, and we never lost a game I attended.

Being there it was one of those games where we kept it close rather than them blowing us open. Missed tackles were the issue from what I remember. But really the game never felt close or worried me. The only thing that I distinctly remember was the Miles Shuler injury where people were worried he was paralyzed and they had to awkwardly back an ambulance into the stadium.
