Or would it be less than 3 losses for the regular season? In 2003 Solich went 9-3 reg season and 10-3 after smoking Smoker and MSU in the Alamo Bowl (although that was Bo coaching the bowl) 1 Quote Link to comment

This curse states that we are destined to never have a season better than or equal to the 10-3 record the team compiled in Solich's last season before being fired. It has held true for a dozen years. I don't know why we're calling this the Solich curse instead of of the 4 loss trend or whatever, but Bo's 4 losses every season is what I sense is being referred to. If we go 10-3, that's the first time since 2003 that we've had less than 4 losses. If we go 11-2, or 11-3/12-2 if we somehow made the championship game, either of those would be our best season since 2001. Quote Link to comment
