knapplc
The crazy thing is, this won't turn the needle for Trump supporters - the same people who heard him say, "Russia, if you're listening..." in the last election and were like, "This seems like a good candidate. Imma vote for him!" Link to comment
knapplc
Someone needs to make a gif of a small car with Trump, Guiliani, Barr, and all their lackeys climbing out in clown gear. This is sooooo criminal! And they clearly know it, and are trying to hide it! 2 1 Link to comment
TGHusker
Trump says it is all so innocent - like a child playing wt dominoes. But, the dominoes are falling and the orange baby will be crying soon enough and perhaps in a orange jail outfit. If he gets impeached and leaves office - then he is open to all of the charges of the Russian investigation. Trump's house in collapsing under the the weight of his own arrogance. One by one the white house aids will stumble out of the WH to defend themselves and leave Trump, Barr, and Rudy to deal with it 1 Link to comment

There was an obvious quid pro quo going on in that 'favor' Trump asked for - Ukraine you investigate Biden and I'll release the foreign aid. All for the personal benefit of helping him in his re-election. Polls have shown Biden beating him badly. As noted in a post above, Trump said he'd welcome help from a foreign govt. Link to comment
QMany
Bill Barr is as corrupt as they come... and is NAMED IN THE COMPLAINT AS "INVOLVED!" 1 Link to comment
TGHusker
Perhaps the intelligence community gets a little 'revenge' against Trump - As we recall, Trump favored Putin's opinion over that of the intelligence community. Of course, those in the intelligence community by its very nature are more mature than playing a 'revenge game'. They speak out because of their honor for the country and not for any loyalty to a president. Some poetic justice may be in play here. https://www.yahoo.com/news/maguire-whistleblower-did-the-right-thing-150129297.html Quote Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire defended the intelligence-community whistleblower at a congressional hearing Thursday morning, saying the still-anonymous official “did the right thing.” "I believe the whistleblower is operating in good faith," Maguire said when asked by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff if the director believed “the whistleblower is a political hack.” “They couldn’t be in good faith if they were acting as a political hack, could they?” Schiff asked, a reference to President Trump’s characterization of the official whose Aug. 12 letter to the heads of the House and Senate Intelligence committees touched off the probe that is evolving into an impeachment inquiry. Trump has called the person, whose identity he says he does not know, a “partisan whistleblower” and described the complaint as “just another political hack job.” The complaint against Trump over his repeated calls for Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter was made public on Thursday morning. In it the unnamed whistleblower cited conversations and details provided by "more than half a dozen U.S. officials,” alleging that Trump is “using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election.” Link to comment
