UCF vs Memphis game is starting out pretty good.  Both teams scored on their first drives.

Im a big fan of Memphis HC Mike Norvell and think he would be one to look at if we have a coaching search.

I like the coach on the other side.  First and goal at 2?  3 runs up the middle and TD.  Sends a message to Memphis that UCF is going to be more physical and will beat them.  2 pt conversion was shades of Helfrich but there must be some reason for it.  Watching UCF QB & RBs running and receivers catching balls with so much space indicates to me a good offense and good coaching.

The SEC West — excluding Alabama — is 7-5 against FBS teams in non-conference play, including 0-4 against Power Fives. Keep in mind that only three of those 12 games were on the road.

The low point came Saturday night in Baton Rouge, where most of Tiger Stadium cleared out before Troy upset LSU.

With the SEC East spinning its wheels, you wonder if Alabama's strength of schedule will be strong enough to impress the selection committee.

I’m only half-kidding.
