This schedule is kinda weak tbh...

Wisconsin and Iowa could likely be shells of themselves by this point. And I have a nagging feeling Urban is gone from tOSU by this point. And Colorado, well their ceiling is pretty limited. This could be a year we make a run if things are stable for us.

We sure draw Ohio state from the east quite a bit.

We actually have only drawn Ohio state from the east one time so far.

What's the point of this post? This isn't new news....

What's the point of this post?

I mean, this schedule has only been out for approximately 6 years..... if it was say the 2020 B1G schedule, post away.

By all means blast away at the one guy on the board that keeps material coming to generate discussion.

LINK: Husker Air Fleet ;)

Quote

The next time Scott Frost and his staff need to criss-cross the country on a recruiting trip, they’ll likely be on a cozy Gulfstream or Cessna private jet or charter that is part of the athletic department’s new “Husker Air Fleet.”

..... added Boeing 787-10 DreamLiner ..... UNL owner courtesy of booster Warren Buffett !!! ;)

Quote

The Husker Air Fleet is part of a broader effort launched last fall to attract more financial support to Nebraska athletics from large and smaller donors. Over the next five years, Nebraska hopes to increase the number of regular donors in the Huskers Athletic Fund to 22,000 from 16,700 currently.

Which brings up one of the wealthiest of all, Omaha billionaire Warren Buffett.

Has Buffett stepped up to support the Husker Air Fleet? You would have to assume there have at least been conversations

Thank GOD, this makes me feel much better about our prospects against NIU.

Is it sad I'm only halfway tongue in cheek?

Nice post, except I might put Colorado in the 50/50 type games.

Here is how I see the 2019 season playing out. I am going to put percentages by the number of wins we have a chance at getting. Note these are regular season numbers.

10 or more- 5%

9-35%

8-40%

7-15%

6 or lower-5%

I think it is safe to say we will be in the 7-9 win range most likely. The schedule is favorable, however, we are replacing a 1k receiver and a 1k rusher. Also, the defense still needs to put pieces together. I like how we are going to be more athletic but we will be young. We are going to find out quick if talent can trump the experience of seniors from last year.

Im revising my original prediction a tad:

NU should win these fairly comfortably- barring a major catastrophe:

South Alabama

Illinois

Indiana

Northern Illinois

Maryland

Colorado

The following near 50/50 games- NU has a slight advantage over- so should win 2 of 3:

Minnesota

Northwestern

Iowa H

The following are near 50/50 games where NU has a disadvantage- so Im thinking we win 1 of 3:

Purdue

Wisconsin H

Ohio State H

Im not a foam finger koolaid drinkee- I had us on 6-6 last year

Im feeling really good about 9 wins 10 if we get the right bowl matchup and dont have a bunch of injuries
