I'm not talking about the alleged assault.  I'm talking about the video that was sent from Washington to the girl.  That is not in dispute at this point.  Even Washington's lawyers don't dispute it was sent.

Where did his lawyers admit to it? I dont recall the statement including the line of Mo sent the video to the girl? Did a new update come out that I missed?

They said that it was an incident involving an inappropriate cell phone video.  They, rightfully so, deny that Maurice sent the video to re-victimize the girl as it pertains to possible sexual assault charges.  Because there is no doubt in my mind that Maurice knew or thought it was a sexual assault.

 

They aren't denying that he sent her the video with the "Remember this hoe" phrase.

No.  I don't believe he did.  There is no way he could have at that time.  I probably didn't type that correctly.

 

I do believe he sent that video to her as a way to shame her for wronging him or perceived cheating or something like that.

So, if, in his mind, this was a "you cheated on me, leave me alone" situation, what do you think should be done?

Here's an example from my world, just last week.

 

A freshman at my son's high school, a kid we've known since they played Little League together, pulls his dick out in class and absent-mindedly plays with it under the desk. Another kid sees him doing it and films it on his phone. The clip gets sent around the school and everyone knows about it. Presumably to embarrass the kid, who -- let's face it - made the 100% avoidable choice of pulling his dick out of his pants in class.

 

Having spent the morning reading this thread, I informed my son just now that he and his friends have been distributing child porn.

Let's put all legal issues aside.  At the very minimum, if I were the coach, half a season suspension.

 

If the roles were reversed, id the female an athlete at a university?  If yes, the same as the football player.  If no, then I'm not sure.  The fact is the players have a code and rules they must abide by.
