TheMeanFarmer
Just fire away here. WTF was that?? You overrun lowly Folsom Field with fans dressed in red, blast a dreaded former rival for 2 quarters, and then go on ... like it was part of the game plan ... piss it all away with lack of adjustments, lack of energy, lack of execution, thinking any opponent will give up when things don't go well (a nice Nebraska trait). Adrian Martinez is getting worse each game with his vision, touch, and decision making. There isn't any consistency in play. WTF do we not have a kicker???? How many kickers hast NU put in the NFL this century alone?? Only NU can let a 96 yard flea flicker work against them and no one is really surprised. Soon the longest play from scrimmage for nearly all NCAA 1A team will be against Nebraska. Black shirts? My Azz. I was hopefully optimistic in the offseason for an 8+ win season. While I only wanted to get a a bowl game. Didn't care which bowl it was. Could still be home for X-mas for all I care just get the extra practices and face another medicore team in a game that no one cares about. Who's next??? 3 1 Quote Link to comment
Huckleberry Muhammad
Well, my guess is Pelini is drinking champagne, giving toasts: "I'll bet they wish they had my 9 wins now." *clink* *gulp* mmm... "No matter how much I cussed and spit." *clink* *gulp* mmm.... 1 Quote Link to comment

hskerprid
Patty cake offenses will NEVER make it in CFB. When I see NU running backs stop before getting hit, I know that the will to dominate your opponent isn't there. When I see a coaching staff not trust the talent of their QB it is a recipe for indecision. In game adjustments are talents that are sometimes born in you and can't be learned. I don't think our D coaching staff was born with it. Osborne made it look easy at times. I think it might be Chinese algebra for our coaching staff. I'm hoping it isn't. Quote Link to comment

Frost making me long for the Pelini days is the worst thing he’s done as a head coach by a wide margin. 1 Quote Link to comment
Mr. MojoHusker
It's like we played not to lose in the third quarter. Then combine that with Martinez trying to win his Heisman. Maybe just the second year slump but everything seemed really telegraphed and he seemed to play not to make mistakes rather than make something happen. You knew when he was running right away and he really looked down his receiver. The motion and backs getting into the middle was working. I just don't get the play calling after the half. It was like the play calls in the opener. 2 down 17 on the last drive before they tied us and we run up the middle? It has not worked in 7 quarters and then do it again on 3rd? Do the coaches not trust Martinez? Play calling was awful in the second half but the blame really has to go on Martinez with his play and turnovers. Quote Link to comment
krc1995
Apparently there is no age limit on college football eligibility. Can find a 32 year old kicker somewhere? Quote Link to comment

Packerhuskerfan
How many players do we have on this team and we can't get a decent backup kicker? Will we ever get another QB that knows when to throw the ball away instead of getting sacked, fumbling, or throwing a pick? Quote Link to comment
