Fru
Really hope the O Line starts the season hot. They noticeably picked it up towards the end of 2019. I was in the north end zone for the Wisconsin game and I can’t remember the last time I saw running lanes develop like they did in that game. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

Depth here is getting better so either way the leash on some of these guys will be much shorter. 1 Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
Spring Preview: Who will be NU's best five on the o-line? Quote Nebraska returns all five starters from last season, but the offensive line depth chart is hardly set in stone going into the start of spring practice. At this point, there appear to be three starters locked in that top-five group in seniors Brenden Jaimes and Matt Farniok and sophomore center Cam Jurgens. Jaimes will be top left tackle and Jurgens will anchor the line at center. The issue, however, is where Farniok is lined up by the time the season opener rolls around. If redshirt freshman Bryce Benhart is ready to take over as the No. 1 right tackle, it will allow Farniok to move inside to guard, where many think is his more natural position. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
The thinking is still that they are going to try to get Benhart ready to go at RT and move Matt Farniok to LG. That would leave Boe Wilson, Trent Hixson and Ethan Piper to battle for the RG spot. Edited March 6, 2020 by Mavric Corrected 2 Quote Link to comment

flatwaterfan
I think Farniok could end up on either side? I kind of think Hixon is going to be bumped no matter what. Scrappy player but just got overpowered too much last year. I think we have enough options to capitalize on that he gets bumped to backup LG. Now Wilson is the guy that I am not sure of. If he bounces back and wins that RG spot then Farniok plays LG. If he falters than I see Farniok at RG and I like someone out of Gaylord,Bando and Piper playing LG. (I will assume Nouili is not eligible). I also think they will find a good RT out of the Benhart,Gaylord,Bando,Banks group to start. That's my guess! Quote Link to comment

suh_fan93
Will be interesting to see how Corcoran develops and at what pace also. Obvious sleeper of the bunch being a frosh. 1 Quote Link to comment
NUance
This guy might be the most important one in determining how well our O-line plays. Just sayin .. Quote Link to comment
Undone
I'll just go ahead and say it: The right guard spot still doesn't really seem like it has a whole lot going for it. There'll be more depth, and that's good. But I wasn't exactly impressed by the play of Wilson nor Hixson. *Edit: Maybe those two guys will have made some strides in strength in the offseason. That could definitely help. 2 Quote Link to comment
