The story is usually that modern passing attacks incorporate a lot of short passes that up the percentage. But he wasn't exactly airing it out against Colorado. Quote Link to comment

The 1999 team fumbled a total of 49 times over the course of 12 games, or basically an average of 4 fumbles a game. The 2023 team has fumbled a total of 26 times over the course of 9 games, or less than 3 a game. So, while this year seems like a LOT of fumbles we aren't even close to that 99 team. Also, for those curious the 1999 team had a total of 5 interceptions. the 2023 team has had 7. 2 2 1 Quote Link to comment
