At that point Joe decided not to run, and even then there was an effort to draft him to the point that they were making plans during primary debates, just in case those trying to draft him into the race would be successful and they had to make room for him. I'm repeating myself a lot but this debate between nails vs chalkboard isn't changing anyone's mind. Trump is doing what he always does, Biden is staying on script like he should always have done.
